Flute from Goyet

Palaeolithic man also created music, even though the melodies are now lost to time. In Goyet, a small one-holed flute made from the bone of a large bird stands as proof. The oldest flute in the world, discovered in the Geißenklösterle cave in the south of Germany is 40,000 years old.
